Great article. So on point and by a retired judge no less.
I’m glad this is finally being talked about more and more. It needs to. According to laws in place, especially in CA, really every person who has had or is currently having sex and was/is under 18 is a sex offender and should be registered. Should we start by locking up every one in high school? We have to save “at least one child”, don’t we?
Parents look back with nostalgia at things they did and chances they took, and say “how free we were back then”; and the same things they now see their children doing and the response is: “lock them away.”
Practically everybody from my old high school in the early to mid 90’s would be arrested. Heck, lets throw in jail all males of the early 80’s who had a poster of teenage Brook Shields on their walls as well.
I wish all judges were like this man. Great article.
Some states prosecute teens for sexting citing that they are their own victims. Based on that lunacy, basically every teenager who masturbates would be a registrant – charged with multiple counts of Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a minor. Again, with the victim being themselves.

I will never admit
What about the girls are they not potential felons too for creating and sending nude photos? Also rabbits, frogs, cats, and dogs for having sex in public places….
